Shion Tsuji is a female singer-songwriter from Yokohama, Kanagawa. She began writing lyrics in childhood, picked up the guitar at fifteen to start composing seriously, and debuted in 2008. Performing in a consistent fingerstyle acoustic-guitar self-accompaniment, she set a record as a teenage solo female artist by earning power-play status across 46 radio stations nationwide. For the noitaminA-block TV anime Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, she contributed her third single, the ending theme M/elody, a quiet, translucent ballad she wrote and composed herself to accompany this delicate story about earthquake aftermath and family bonds. She has also provided songs for Bleach, Soul Eater, and other anime.
