Kumahachi Morino

Kumahachi Morino is a culinary expert and TV personality from Yokohama, Kanagawa. He trained in French and Italian cuisine at restaurants in Yokohama and later taught Western cooking at a culinary school, building a unique persona around singing recipes while preparing the dishes. In the TV anime 'Tentai Senshi Sunred' he appears as the chef of the in-show cooking segment 'Vamp General's Quick Dishes' and performed the ending theme 'Tori Tango Nabe' (with both lyrics and music by himself) as well as the season-two ending 'Mizonokuchi Forever'. His unusual songs, riffing on the show's Kawasaki-Mizonokuchi setting, sit perfectly with the laid-back hero-vs-villain-roommate comedy.
