SHAZNA is a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in 1993 and led by vocalist IZAM. Their 1997 major-label debut single Melty Love reached number two on the Oricon chart, propelling them alongside La'cryma Christi, MALICE MIZER, and FANATIC CRISIS as one of the so-called 'Four Heavenly Kings of Visual Kei' who defined the late-1990s scene. IZAM's androgynous, feminine image and the band's catchy melodies generated a passionate young following. In anime, they performed the opening theme PIECE OF LOVE for Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, bringing their glittering visual-kei sound to the magical girl series, and contributed PURENESS to the Crayon Shin-chan theatrical film Pig's Hoof's Secret Mission.
