Lastier is a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in 1996 in Niigata Prefecture, originating from members of a local ski circle. They achieved their major-label debut in 1998 and are remembered as part of the late-1990s visual kei scene, known for blending catchy pop melodies with rock instrumentation. In anime, they performed Dive into Shine, the later opening theme for Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, writing the lyrics and composing the song themselves while sharing arrangement duties with Joe Rinoie. Their up-tempo rock track brought a fresh, driving energy to the magical girl series' opening in its second half, and remains a fondly remembered piece for both anime and visual kei fans of the era.
