Aki Okui is a Japanese female singer-songwriter who debuted in 1992. With a translucent high-tenor voice and a gift for fantasy-tinged lyrics and melodies, she has built a lasting career in anime and game music since the 1990s. In anime, she became closely associated with the Magical Circle Guru Guru franchise, performing ending themes such as Wind Climbing ~Kaze ni Asobarete~, Mou Tomaranai, and the later signature track Harete Hallelujah, making her one of the show's signature artists. She also performed the ending theme Tsuki no Mayu for Yoshiyuki Tomino's Turn A Gundam under Yoko Kanno's production, bringing a dreamlike, gentle voice to the Gundam franchise.
