Chisato

Artist

Chisato is a Japanese guitarist and singer-songwriter from Tokyo. While a student at Tokai University he co-founded the visual kei rock band PENICILLIN, where he has continued as leader and guitarist since the 1990s. He launched a parallel solo career in 1996 and in 2003 added the project Crack 6, in which he handles both vocals and guitar, developing a multifaceted musical career. In anime, he performed the ending theme WAKE UP! for the fantasy comedy Gokudo the Adventurer, marrying his rock-guitarist instincts with a soaring vocal to give the rogue protagonist's freewheeling journey an energetic, propulsive sendoff.
