COMA is a Japanese music unit formed by female vocalist Miyumi Koishi and composer Yoshikazu Suo, a veteran of film, TV-drama, and anime soundtracks. Under Suo's production, the unit released pop, coquettish songs anchored by Koishi's expressive, character-driven vocals. In anime, they performed the opening theme Datte, Daisuki! for Studio Pierrot's original 1999 series I'm Gonna Be An Angel!, an up-tempo number with lyrics by Miyuu Yuzuki and music and arrangement by Suo himself. The playfully cute vocal performance perfectly suited the lively, heartwarming antics of trainee angel Noelle, giving the show a bright, bubbly opening.
