Miho Komatsu is a singer-songwriter from Kobe, widely known as a writer affiliated with GIZA studio under the Being group. She debuted in 1997 with the opening theme 'Nazo' for 'Detective Conan' and, with mysterious, melancholic melodies and introspective lyrics, became one of the signature female artists of the Being lineup. Among her anime contributions, the opening theme 'Kaze ga Soyogu Basho' for 'Monster Rancher' presented a brisk, propulsive sound, and on her own lyrics and composition with arrangement by Hiroto Furui became a flagship hit, reaching number nine on Oricon with cumulative sales around 150,000 copies. She has also provided themes such as the opening 'I just wanna hold you tight' for 'MÄR -Märchen Awakens Romance-' and the theme 'Kagayakeru Hoshi' for the gag anime 'Ninpen Manmaru', leaving songs across the anime music scene for many years.
