Like Uncolored Velvet is a Japanese girls band that debuted in 1998 under avex's club / alternative label Cutting Edge. With a live-band sound centered on songs the members wrote themselves, they performed the later opening theme 'Ashita ni Todoke' for the 1999 TV anime 'Power Stone', adapted from the Capcom fighting game. Written and composed by the band, with arrangement co-credited to Masao Akashi and the band, the song became a forward-leaning rock track that matched the propulsive feel of the show's back half and stayed in viewers' memories as an opening.
