Kirari is an artist who debuted as an actress in 1997, appeared in works including the drama 'GTO', and then started her career as a singer in 1999. Aiming at a Japanese-language vocal style filtered through hip-hop and R&B, on her debut single 'Last Piece' she wrote the lyrics herself, with the track produced by ☆Taku Takahashi of m-flo. The song was used as the ending theme for the Fuji TV anime 'GTO', giving an urban, mellow R&B finish that left an afterglow over the ensemble drama of a former gang member turned teacher and his students. Released in both 8cm and 12cm CD formats, she is remembered as one of the representative 1999 debutantes who balanced acting and singing, and her name lingers in anime music history.
