Taeko Kawata is a female voice actress active since the late 1980s. Drawing on her bright, endearing tone, she is widely loved for kid-friendly roles such as Arale Norimaki in the remake of Dr. Slump, the title role in Jungle Emperor Leo, and roles in Digimon Frontier: Revival of the Ancient Digimon. As an anime theme singer she performed Baby Pink na Asa, the ending of Seraphim Call, voicing Tanpopo Teramoto and delivering a sweet idol-style pop tune. She continues to appear in the Pretty Cure series and titles like Mitsudomoe, building a long career across many genres.
