SION is a singer-songwriter known for his husky voice and blues-rooted, gritty rock. Active since the 1980s and writing all his own material, he is a stalwart of the Japanese rock scene with signature works such as 'Ore no Koe' and 'SORRY BABY'. He performed 'Koko Made Oide', the opening theme of the TV anime 'NieA_7', lending his lived-in blues-folk vocals to the laid-back daily-life SF series from Yoshitoshi Abe's original concept and character designs.
