SiLC is a music unit consisting of Miyo-Ken and miki. They appeared on the anime scene with himegoto, the ending theme of the sci-fi anime Vandread, where miki wrote the lyrics and Miyo-Ken handled composition and arrangement; the track became the unit's signature song. Their whispering vocals layered over electronic textures gave the closing of this space-set series a floating, dreamlike feel, and the song was warmly received by anime fans abroad. Remix versions were later released, and SiLC carved out a niche with their minimal, aesthetic sound.
