Kumiko Endo is a Japanese actress, TV personality, and singer from Katsushika Ward in Tokyo. She rose to prominence as a gravure idol and TV talent in the late 1990s and has worked widely across dramas and films as a multitalented performer. Within her music work she performed CROSSROAD, the ending theme of the NHK BS-2 anime Karakuri Kiden Hiwou Senki. The upbeat, earnest number, with lyrics by Miki Ashihara and music by Little Voice, suited the show's adventure story of young people in the late Edo period and closed each episode on a bright, forward-looking note.
