LUCA is a visual-kei rock band from Hiroshima, with vocalist KAZUKI, guitarists SHUJI and Jun, bassist TOSHI, and drummer REN, characterized by a dark, aesthetic sound. They appeared on the anime scene with Ai wo Shiru ni wa Hayasugita no ka, the ending theme of the mysterious sci-fi anime Sci-Fi Harry, written by KAZUKI, composed by SHUJI, and arranged by Takeshi Tsuji. Its serious lyrics about loss and pain, atmospheric guitar work, and rock-oriented arrangement added a heavy, sinking aftertaste to this unsettling story of a young psychic.
