ROLLY is a Japanese multi-artist working as a rock singer, guitarist, music producer, and actor. Known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band Scanch, he has pursued his own brand of glam and comic rock as a solo artist since the group disbanded. His anime work includes SAMURAI, the opening theme of the surreal family comedy The Family's Defensive Alliance on Fuji TV, for which he wrote, composed, and arranged the song entirely on his own. Blending kabuki-style phrasing with glam rock, the track adds a vivid splash of color to the show's mix of the everyday and the absurd.
