LAZY is a Japanese rock band formed of vocalist Hironobu Kageyama, guitarist Akira Takasaki, drummer Munetaka Higuchi, bassist Hiroyuki Tanaka and keyboardist Shunji Inoue. Debuting in 1977 as the youngest rock band of its time with an average age of 16, the group first found idol-style popularity before making their famous 'hard rock declaration' and helping pioneer the Japanese hard rock scene. After breaking up, the members went on to international success with bands such as LOUDNESS, and following their reunion they have also contributed songs to anime. In anime work, they performed 'Zone of the Enders,' the opening theme of the TV anime 'Z.O.E Dolores, i.' Written, composed and arranged by the band themselves, the track opens the series with sturdy hard-rock playing and Kageyama's signature shout.
