Yasushi Ishii is a Japanese composer and artist from Utsunomiya, Tochigi, known for a cross-genre style spanning experimental electronics, acid, classical and hard rock. His representative anime tie-up is the opening theme 'Logos Naki World' for the TV anime 'HELLSING'. He wrote the lyrics, composed and arranged the track, and performed it himself, embodying the world of this gothic-horror vampire-hunter action in jazzy, decadent sound. He was also involved in the series soundtrack work, consistently shaping its bleak musical image as one of its core creators.
