THE SCANTY is a Japanese girls rock band that debuted under the production of Masahide Sakuma. Centered around YOPPY, who is also active as a model, they performed two opening themes for the TV anime Full Moon wo Sagashite: I Love U and ROCK'N ROLL PRINCESS. YOPPY wrote the lyrics for both, with the band itself composing I Love U and Masahide Sakuma composing ROCK'N ROLL PRINCESS. Their straightforward, powerful rock sound coloured the opening of this music anime based on a shoujo manga.
