Funta is a Japanese pop rock band consisting of vocalist UCO and guitarist-bassist Yoshimi. Focused mainly on anime theme songs, they performed the opening theme Wake up Angel ~Negaimashite wa Mugen Nari~ for the TV anime Pita-Ten, Sunao na Mama for Nanaka 6/17, and S-U-K-I for Popotan. They also delivered comic tracks for Dr. Slump such as Kao Dekai and Hanage ga Chotto Tobidashiteiru., showcasing their playful, pop-leaning sound. UCO and Yoshimi often co-write the lyrics and music, with Hideyuki Fukazawa and others contributing arrangements.
