Utaibitohane is a male acoustic folk duo formed by Shinichi Yasuoka and Tetsuro Honda, performing with twin acoustic guitars and an unaffected, almost live-take vocal style. Their ninth single 'Mi-Title' served as the ending theme of the soccer anime 'Hungry Heart: Wild Striker,' with Yasuoka writing the lyrics, Honda composing the music and Junjiro Seki handling the arrangement. The folk-tinged ballad provided a warm afterglow to a series about a young striker fighting through setbacks, and remains the duo's best-known anime tie-up alongside their later drama and commercial song work.
