Asuka Matsumoto is a Japanese pianist and singer-songwriter who began studying piano at three years and nine months old, with a transparent, classically informed touch carrying over into her own singing. For the anime 'Bomberman Jetters' she handled the lyrics and vocals of the ending theme 'Chiisana Koro no Chiisana Kioku,' a piano-led ballad composed by Kazunori Maruyama and arranged by Masahiro Iuchi that gently traces the faint shimmer of childhood memories. Her credit also extends to the show's soundtrack, marking the song out as one of the most distinctive endings in the series thanks to her pianist's sense of phrasing.
