Kuricorder Quartet
Artist
Kuricorder Quartet is an instrumental ensemble formed in 1994. Its core members, Masaki Kurihara on recorder, pianica, and Andes among others, Yoshiyuki Kawaguchi on recorder, percussion, and saxophone, and Takeo Sekijima on recorder, tuba, and jaw harp, have built a warm, distinctive sound centered on the recorder. For the anime Allison and Lillia they delivered both the opening theme Tameiki no Hashi and the ending theme Sayonara no Omajinai. The former was composed by Masaki Kurihara and sung by Shione Yukawa, while the latter was composed by Kenji Kondo and sung by Motoo Matsumoto, with the Quartet arranging both pieces and adding a gentle texture to the adventure fantasy series.
