Shione Yukawa

Shione Yukawa is a Tokyo-born female singer-songwriter. She passed an audition to join the Tokyo Boys and Girls Choir at age four and took part in Ryuichi Sakamoto's opera LIFE at sixteen, growing up immersed in music. Yukawa made her major-label debut with Toshiba EMI in 2005, earning acclaim for her crystalline soprano voice and delicate songwriting. For the anime Allison and Lillia she joined forces with Kuricorder Quartet on the opening theme Tameiki no Hashi, writing the lyrics herself while Masaki Kurihara composed the music and the Quartet handled arrangement, vividly evoking the lyrical world of this adventure fantasy series.
