Motoo Matsumoto is a singer-songwriter from Okegawa, Saitama. In 2001 he made his major debut as vocalist and guitarist of the rock band GOING UNDER GROUND with the single Graffiti, and he has since written most of the band's lyrics and music while also contributing songs to other artists and pursuing solo work. For the anime Allison and Lillia he teamed up with Kuricorder Quartet on the ending theme Sayonara no Omajinai, writing the lyrics himself, with composition by Kenji Kondo and arrangement by Kuricorder Quartet, lending this adventure fantasy series a warm, nostalgic closing.
