Naifu is a Japanese rock band formed in 2005, consisting of four members: Naoki Koujin on vocals and guitar, Shion Morishita on guitar and vocals, Kazama Murakami on bass and vocals, and Atsushi Yamaguchi on drums and vocals, all contributing melodic ensemble work. They debuted on the indie scene in April 2008 with the mini album ALL OVER NOW EP, and made their major debut that July through GIZA studio with the single Take The Wave. The song was selected as the opening theme for the anime Golgo 13, with Naifu writing the lyrics and guitarist Shion Morishita handling composition and arrangement, producing a muscular rock number well suited to the hardboiled tone of the series. The band disbanded at the end of 2009.
