doa is a rock band formed in 2004 centered on Akihito Tokunaga. The three-piece lineup features Shinichiro Ota on vocals and guitar, Akihito Tokunaga on vocals and bass, and Daiki Yoshimoto on guitar, built around the concept of a band in which every member can sing. Affiliated with Being, the group specializes in melodic, hard rock anchored by Tokunaga's compositions and arrangements. Anime and tokusatsu tie-ups include the ending theme 'Glass no Highway' for 'Golgo 13,' the opening 'Zero no Kimochi' for 'Zaizen Jotaro,' and the ending 'Kokoro no Rhythm Tobichiru Butterfly' for 'Fist of the Blue Sky.' Their muscular tracks and layered chorus work bring weight to hardboiled story worlds.
