Masataka Nakagauchi

Masataka Nakagauchi is a Japanese actor and singer. In the long-running stage franchise 'The Prince of Tennis Musical' he played Masaharu Niou of Rikkai Dai Fuzoku, becoming one of the standard-bearers of the 2.5-dimensional stage scene. Later he returned to the franchise as Nanjiro Echizen in 'The Prince of Tennis Musical: The Fifth Stage.' On the music side he sang 'START,' the ending theme for 'Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's,' written by Naomi Kosaka, composed by Koji Ueda, and arranged by Azuma Masubuchi. His stage-trained, openhearted male vocal brought a fresh ending mood to the riding-duel-centered anime. He has also released collaborative work with Yudai Furukawa.
