Alice Nine is a Japanese visual kei rock band fronted by vocalist Shou. They are known for ornate, narrative-rich lyrics and a sound that fuses rock, punk, and Japanese popular song traditions, gaining strong popularity in both the domestic VK scene and overseas. Anime tie-ups include three songs: the opening 'Akatsuki' and ending 'Ikuoku no Chandelier' for 'Meine Liebe Wieder' and the ending 'CROSS GAME' for 'Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.' Shou wrote all the lyrics, delivering delicate, dramatic rock for both the aristocratic-school storyworld of Meine Liebe and the futuristic card-battle universe of 5D's. They have also successfully headlined Nippon Budokan.
