Aya Endo is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Yamagata Prefecture, affiliated with Intention. Known for a centered, lustrous voice and a wide emotional range, she gained broad attention in 2007 with the role of Miyuki Takara in 'Lucky Star,' and in 2008 took on the iconic role of Sheryl Nome in 'Macross Frontier' (the performance role; singing voice was May'n). She won the Best Singing Award at the 2nd Seiyu Awards alongside three colleagues and the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 3rd. In 'Sekirei' she voiced Matsu the wind shikigami and joined Saori Hayami (Yui), Marina Inoue (Tsukiumi), and Kana Hanazawa (Kusano) on the opening 'Sekirei' and ending 'Dear sweet heart,' both written by Shogo Yasukawa with composition and arrangement by Satoru Kosaki of MONACA. The cast chorus drew the playful battle-action world of the series in full color.
