Kaori Shimizu is a Japanese voice actress and stage actress from Tokyo, originally a child actor. Her voice-acting debut came in 1998 as Lain Iwakura in 'serial experiments lain,' and she has built a long career covering introverted, mysterious characters as well as combat-driven roles. Signature roles include Hazuki Sakurazaka in 'Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu,' Signum in 'Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection / Detonation,' Nonoha Ito in 'Phi Brain: Puzzle of God,' and Miki-san in 'Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken.' On the anime music side she joined the main cast on the ending 'Hitosashiyubi Quiet!' for 'Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu,' written by Kiyomi Kumano and composed and arranged by Tsuyoshi Watanabe, supporting the worldview of the hidden-otaku heiress story.
