Onsoku Line

Onsoku Line is a Japanese rock band formed in spring 2003 in Fukushima, fronted by vocalist-guitarist Takayuki Fujii. Fujii writes virtually all of the band's lyrics and music, and their sound is defined by a grounded, everyday lyricism set to restrained, melodic guitar lines. They are known in anime circles for performing 'Polaris no Namida', the ending theme of NHK's series 'Telepathy Girl Ran', a song whose understated arrangement and Fujii's plain-spoken vocal sit gently alongside the show's portrayal of adolescent uncertainty.
