Emiri Miyamoto x solita is a collaborative unit between violinist Emiri Miyamoto and singer Solita. Miyamoto, daughter of oboist and conductor Shigeaki Miyamoto, took up the violin at seven and at fourteen won first prize at the German Students' Music Competition in Dusseldorf. She had already appeared as a member of the in-show Nodame Orchestra for the Fuji Television live-action drama 'Nodame Cantabile'. For the subsequent anime sequel 'Nodame Cantabile: Paris Chapter' the duo recorded the ending theme 'Tokyo et Paris', composed and arranged by Shigenobu Okawa.
