Emiri Kato is a Japanese voice actress and singer affiliated with 81 Produce, recognised for a clear, cute vocal tone and the range to move between comedy and serious drama. Her signature roles include Kagami Hiiragi in 'Lucky Star', Kyubey in 'Puella Magi Madoka Magica', Mayoi Hachikuji in the 'Monogatari' series and Anzu Futaba in 'The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls'. She has been honoured at the Seiyu Awards as Best Rookie Actress, with the Singing Award, and later as Best Supporting Actress. In anime music she is known for two ending themes of 'Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka' - 'Shoujo Test wa Muzukashii' and 'Cherry pink mystery', both with lyrics by Aki Hata.
