Iizuka Mayumi is a voice actress and singer from Kanagawa, widely recognized for voicing Kasumi (Misty) in 'Pokemon' since 1997, a role she has continued to reprise across 'Best Wishes' and 'Sun & Moon.' She made her singing debut in 1997 with the album 'Kataomoi' and has maintained a parallel music career alongside her voice work. In anime music she performed the ending theme 'Nemureru Hoshi no Aoi Suna' for 'Shikabane Hime: Aka' (lyrics by Natsumi Tadano, composition and arrangement by Norito Sumitomo), an anime in which she also played Misaki, lending her lyrical vocals to a melancholic series.
