JUNED was a Japanese rock band formed in 2004 by vocalist Akira Harada and guitarist Masafumi Mouri, later joined by bassist Tatsuya Konishi, with the band renaming itself JUNED in 2006. In November 2008 they released their major debut single 'Aioi' on Frontier Works. The song was chosen as the ending theme for the TV anime 'Junjou Romantica 2,' marking their only anime tie-up and ultimately their final single. The lyrics were written by Harada with composition by Mouri, while the band arranged the track themselves, with delicate vocals and introspective melodies supporting the boys-love series' emotional world. The band disbanded in July 2009, but despite their brief activity they left a recorded mark on anime music history.
