Yamazaru is a Japanese singer-songwriter who left the popular group LGMonkees in October 2014 to begin solo activities. Immediately after his departure, his singles charted at number one on weekly rankings and received wide radio play, establishing him as a popular artist. His major anime tie-up is 'Kaze,' the opening theme for the TV anime 'NARUTO Shippuden.' As a fan of the original work, Yamazaru wrote the song with the wish that 'different winds blow each day, and I wanted this to be a tailwind that pushes the back of those troubled or stuck against headwinds.' The lyrics were written by Yamazaru himself, with the music co-composed with L!TH!UM, who also arranged the track, resulting in a warm and message-driven piece.
