aluto (alüto) is a Japanese duo consisting of Daigo Fujita (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Honoka Sato (violin, chorus). The band name 'al-u-to' read in reverse spells out 'to-u-all,' a wordplay woven into the subtitle of their debut single. Their major debut single 'Michi: to you all,' released in July 2007, served as the ending theme of the TV anime 'NARUTO Shippuden' from July 5 to September 27, 2007. The song was written and composed by Daigo Fujita himself, with arrangement handled jointly by the band and Kazuhisa Yamaguchi. The gentle interplay between acoustic guitar and violin added a quiet, reflective resonance to the ninjas' ongoing journey.
