Kishidan is a Japanese rock band from Kisarazu in Chiba Prefecture, formed in 1997 around leader Sho Ayanokoji. They are widely known for performances themed around Showa-era yankee culture symbolized by pompadour hair and student uniforms, paired with sound that incorporates kayokyoku-style melodies. Their signature song 'One Night Carnival' (lyrics and composition by Sho Ayanokoji) has been a long-selling hit in both its original release and its 2013 self-cover version, becoming a band-defining anthem. Their anime tie-up is 'Omae Dattanda,' which served as an ending theme for the TV anime 'NARUTO Shippuden,' with lyrics by Ayanokoji and arrangement handled by the band themselves, channeling their signature theatrical rock energy.
