UNLIMITS is a Japanese rock band formed in 2002 around Yoko Shimizu (vocals and guitar) and Yoko Gunjima (drums and vocals). In 2006 bassist Naokazu Ishijima and guitarist Yoshitaka Otsuki joined to make them a four-piece. With female twin vocals and a melodic style imbued with the nostalgic flavor of kayokyoku, they have established a sound that weaves melancholy threads into mainstream J-rock. Their second single 'Cascade,' released in 2012, became their signature track when it was selected as an ending theme of the TV Tokyo TV anime 'NARUTO Shippuden.' Lyrics were written by Gunjima, with composition by Shimizu and arrangement by the band themselves, and their delicate vocals enhanced the emotional afterglow of the series.
