AISHA is a Japanese female singer from Yokohama, born to an American musician father—who has played on Stevie Wonder tours and Parliament albums—and a Japanese mother. Her career took off when the late Guru of Gang Starr recognized her talent and featured her on his final album. Her debut EP also featured DMC of Run-DMC, marking her as a vocalist beloved by hip hop legends. Among her anime tie-ups, she performed 'Kono Koe Karashite feat. CHEHON' as an ending theme for 'NARUTO Shippuden,' a summer track co-written by Yoshitaka Taira and CHEHON in collaboration with the reggae singer.
