Akihisa Kondo is a Japanese singer-songwriter from Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, known as a multi-creator who handles lyrics, composition, arrangement, string arrangement, artwork, mixing, video production, and stage design all on his own. A signature anime tie-up of his is 'Black Night Town,' an ending theme for 'NARUTO Shippuden.' He wrote both lyrics and music himself, with arrangement by Yoshiaki Dewa. The ending sequence featured Sasuke Uchiha rather than the protagonist, and Kondo described the song as a dark-fantasy-tinged rock tune built around the theme of light and shadow.
