Arashiro Beni

Beni Arashiro is a Japanese singer from Okinawa Prefecture. She made her major-label debut in 2004 with 'mō nai' and, in 2005, performed 'step,' the ending theme for the first cour of the anime 'Major.' Lyrics were by Hideyuki Obata, with composition and arrangement by Hirofumi Asamoto. She later changed her stage name to BENI and reinvented herself as an R&B singer, releasing hit songs such as 'Mou Ichido… feat. Dohzi-T' and 'Hitorijime' that won her enormous support, particularly among younger women.
