Yuko Asami is a female singer and radio personality known as a former member of the vocal unit YeLLOW Generation. After the three-member unit disbanded, she began solo work and made her solo debut with the coupling single 'Yume, Hitohira/Smile' alongside Mai Mizuhashi. The single served as the theme songs for the school-life anime 'Hitohira,' with Asami performing the opening theme 'Yume, Hitohira,' featuring lyrics by Keiko Kimoto, composition by Kaoru Okubo, and arrangement by Hisanori Inoue. Drawing on the sense of harmony and expression cultivated during her group years, she brightly graced the series' opening as the first representative work of her solo career, and has also expanded her activities as a radio personality.
