Mizrock

Artist

Mizrock is a female singer-songwriter from Hokkaido. After activity under the name Miz, she became Mizrock and gained popularity abroad, including in Sweden and Taiwan. For anime, she performed the later ending theme 'Good bye, yesterday' for the GONZO fantasy 'Romeo x Juliet,' an adaptation of Shakespeare's play. She wrote the lyrics herself, with composition by Sweden's Sandra Nordstrom and Thomas Wohnl and arrangement by Tomoo Ishizuka. The lyrics carry a positive message of turning past weaknesses into wings and saying goodbye to yesterday, and with a Western-flavored sound born of collaboration with overseas creators, she closed out the ending of this work depicting tragic love.
