IKU

Artist

IKU is a singer-songwriter based in Hokkaido. Long involved as a guest vocalist with the sound of the music production group I've, she is known as one of the singers symbolizing the I've sound. Under the production of Kazuya Takase, she made her major debut in 2008 with the single 'Oto no Nai Yozora ni/Konomekaze.' That 'Konomekaze' was chosen as the ending theme for the popular butler comedy 'Hayate the Combat Butler,' with IKU herself writing both lyrics and music. With a voice combining clarity and core strength that pairs well with I've's signature programmed sound, she has long been active in the anime and game music scene, later also becoming an official member of I've.
