Asuka Hii is a singer and actress from Osaka Prefecture. Debuting in 2002 as a member of the vocal unit LOVE&PEACE, she built her music career through solo work and activity with HINOI Team, gaining popularity with para-para style songs such as 'IKE IKE' in HINOI Team. For anime, she performed the ending theme 'Ashita e no Hikari' for the comedy 'My Bride is a Mermaid,' which depicts an engagement with a mermaid, with lyrics, composition, and arrangement all by Yugo Sasakura. She colored the series' ending with a voice highlighting the freshness within the slapstick comedy. From around 2010 she shifted her focus to acting, appearing in television dramas and films and broadening her range as a performer.
