Sena is the former stage name of a singer-songwriter, lyricist, and composer from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, who later unified her name to 'Shihori.' Aspiring to become a professional singer-songwriter at 17, she moved to Tokyo at 21 to begin music activities in earnest. After drawing attention with commercial songs, she made her major debut from Lantis under the name Sena with 'TSUBASA' in 2007. This 'TSUBASA' is the ending theme for the sci-fi anime 'Kishin Taisen Gigantic Formula,' which depicts battles between giant robots, with the song written and composed by herself and arranged by Ryosuke Nakanishi. The song performed well, reaching the upper ranks of the Oricon daily chart. She is a singer characterized by expressive power combining a powerful voice and delicate nuances that belie her petite frame.
