SS501 is a South Korean boy band formed under DSP Media. The maxi single 'Kokoro,' released in connection with their entry into the Japanese market, was chosen as the ending theme for the TV anime 'Blue Dragon' and charted high on the Oricon chart. Their Japanese debut song was thus tied to an anime, and they are known as one of the pioneering K-pop groups active in both Korea and Japan.
