Buono! is a Hello! Project unit formed by Momoko Tsugunaga, Miyabi Natsuyaki, and Airi Suzuki. Tsugunaga and Natsuyaki came from Berryz Kobo and Suzuki from °C-ute. The group debuted in October 2007 with the single 'Honto no Jibun,' built around a tie-up with the anime 'Shugo Chara!' For that series they performed both the ending theme 'Honto no Jibun' and the opening theme 'Kokoro no Tamago,' carrying both bookends of the show and supporting its musical identity in full. Known for guitar-driven, rock-leaning songs, they carved out a distinctive lane within Hello! Project and expanded into live and festival work using their anime tie-ups as a springboard.
